​Staple Clubs and Committees
Considered by Founders to envelop, influence, and support the community in immeasurable ways. 

House of Representatives
Advisor: Ms. Brown
Meeting Time: Wednesdays 3:15-4:00pm
Description: The House of Representatives is the middle school student government. Students represent their Round Tables and the student body at large. These students review school policies and student issues. The body is also responsible for student activities, including planning the Olympics day at the end of each year.
Membership: Middle school students only. Members are selected through elections in Round Tables.

Student Senate
Advisor: Mrs. Oliveria, Mr. Weekley
Meeting Time: Tuesdays 3:15-4:00pm
Description: The Student Senate is the high school student government. Students represent their Round Tables and the student body at large. These students review school policies and student issues. The mission of this club is to develop in students excellent qualities of character and leadership by affording them a real opportunity to lead.
Membership: High school students only. Members are selected through elections in Round Tables.

Ambassador’s Club
Advisor: Dean Mooney
Meeting Time: TBD
Description: This club is made up of students interested in representing Founders to the outside community. On special occasions, they are called on to welcome special guests, lead tours, and exhibit the characteristics of exemplary student leadership. 
Membership: Both middle and high school students. Members are selected by the Dean of School. Students wishing to participate should reach out to the Dean.

Student Activities Committee
Advisor: Ms. Efraimson
Meeting Time: Wednesdays after school
Description: The Student Activities Committee is comprised of spirited students from each grade. Spirit days at Founders such as "Pajama Day", "Crazy Hair Day", "Twin Day", etc.  are coordinated and promoted by the Student Activities Committee. They are also responsible for the coordination of "Teacher Appreciation" week.  The Student Activities Committee is a place to share school spirit ideas and convey the "spirit" of Founders to the student body.
Membership: Both middle and high school students.

High School Drama Club
Advisor: Ms. Mote
Meeting Time: TBD
Description: Within Drama Club, every student can find a place to contribute. From technical jobs, such as set building and painting, to lighting and sound, our students take leadership roles within the production. They work together in teams to learn new skills and help create mentoring relationships. Participating in theatre helps to build student confidence and promotes teamwork, commitment, and responsibility. In the words of one of our students: "Theater is very important in student lives because it gives them more confidence and self-respect, which is a very important feature in a future leader." Past performances include Knights of the Rad Table, Anne of Green Gables, Little Women, The Entire History of the American Revolution in 40 Minutes or Less, and Silent Sky.
Membership: High school students only.

Middle School Drama Club
Advisor: Ms. Mote, Mrs. Ciccarello
Meeting Time: TBD
Description: Middle School students put on productions and are introduced to different aspects of a play. They work together in teams to learn new skills and often work with high school students to learn about the technical aspects of a production. Past performances include Wenceslas, The Enchanted Bookshop, and Peter Pan.
Membership: Middle school students only.

Random Acts of Kindness Club
Advisor: Mrs. Nichols
Meeting Time: Wednesdays J Period
Description: The Random Acts of Kindness Committee is a small group of students who want to spread kindness at school and in our community.
Membership: Both middle and high school students.

Sewing Club
Advisor: Mrs. Nichols, Mrs. Fortier
Meeting Time: Tuesdays 3:15-4:30pm
Description: This club welcomes new and experienced sewers.  We will be learning how to sew by hand and with a machine to create a wide variety of projects.  Some projects will include clothing, bags, and community service projects.  If you have a sewing machine you would like to use, please bring it! If you don't have one, we have some to share. 
Membership: Both middle and high school students.

Running Club
Advisor: Mrs. Nichols
Meeting Time: Thursdays after school
Description: Running club welcomes seasoned and new runners to work on their fitness goals after school.
Membership: Both middle and high school students.

Fun Math Club
Advisor: Mrs. Nichols
Meeting Time: Mondays 3:15-4:00pm
Description: This club is meant to foster a love of math through a series of fun activities for students to participate in. Math is the foundation of the universe and there is nothing more important in teaching kids how to enjoy it as it will help them in their future studies.
Membership: Middle school students only.

Prom Committee
Advisor: Mrs. Moore and Ms. Efraimson
Meeting Time: Wednesdays after school
Description: Prom Committee is in charge of hosting the Founders prom. They work on fundraising and make decisions on theming, locations, food, etc.
Membership: Grades 11 and 12 only.
