Student Safety & Emergencies at The Founders

Student safety is the first priority for Founders' faculty and staff. As such, the school has a standing internal committee to monitor and address safety. That committee is called the Founders' Safety Committee.

The Safety Committee is made up of teachers, administrators, and staff with frequent consultation from the Manchester Police and Fire Departments. It was created to establish and review safety and emergency procedures as well as instruct teachers to assist students with these procedures. Students regularly practice safety drills throughout the school year and discuss safety procedures in classes. The Safety Committee continues to review safety procedures in order to evaluate and update as needed. The Safety Committee meets once per month or more if necessary.
