Mr. Hazen Dauphinee is from Bradley, Maine. It is a small town next to the famous Old Town, where many canoes are made and shipped around the world! Bradley is also very close to the City of Bangor, an inspiration for many of Stephen King's scary stories!

After graduating from the University of Maine in Presque Isle, Mr. Dauphinee ventured west to teach in Phoenix, Arizona to teach 6th Grade English Language Arts and Social Studies with 6th graders. Mr. Dauphinee soon realized that he missed the weather and family back home so he headed back to New England. Teaching throughout his home state of Maine, Mr. Dauphinee expanded his experiences in coaching, tutoring, and teaching other subjects such as math and science. Mr. Dauphinee most recently worked at the Deerfield Community School as an English/Social Studies teacher.

Mr. Dauphinee has worked with students from first grade to college students. He has a passion for naval history and symbology, and is planning on attaining a Masters and eventually a Ph. D in History at the University of New Hampshire. His hobbies include fly-fishing, archery, golf, writing and he has recently taken up the game of tennis. He also has a 5 month old puppy, a corgi named Archibald!
