Mrs. Audra Huffman is from Long Island, New York, where she spent the last nine years teaching middle and high school history. She was recently married and now lives in the New England area with her wonderful husband. Mrs. Huffman is a positive and enthusiastic educator who loves bringing the past to life. She believes that curiosity, respect for self and others, and a desire for life-long learning play an important role in the classroom. 

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education from Molloy College and then continued her education by earning her Master’s Degree in History from the City University of New York, Queens College. 

When Mrs. Huffman is not in the classroom, she loves to travel the world. She has explored a variety of countries including Italy, Austria, Brazil, Germany, Mexico, Canada, and China. One of her latest adventures was in Nepal where she trekked through the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains to assist with building projects in remote villages.
