My name is Natasha Hyde and I am excited to be teaching mathematics this year. Following the completion of my bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 2003, I worked as a chemist and veterinary nurse before becoming a stay-at-home mother to my identical twin daughters and a small business owner in 2009. I then completed my Master of Education from Southern New Hampshire University.
Through my experiences and love of mathematics, science, and animals I have developed a teaching philosophy that includes project-based learning with real-world connections. As a shy elementary student myself, I am passionate about creating a learning environment that provides experiences that build students’ confidence and life long love of learning.
When I am not teaching math, I enjoy doing crafts and puzzles with my daughters, gardening, and tending to my flock of chickens.
