Ste. Croix

Teacher, English

B.A. Creative Writing, Chester College
MFA Creative Writing, University of Alaska

Stuart Ste. Croix earned his BA in Creative Writing from Chester College of New England and his MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alaska. After completing his graduate work, he and his wife moved to Virginia Beach, VA, where his wife was stationed in the Navy, and he taught Composition and Literature at South University. During his six years teaching at South, he found few things more rewarding than seeing students engage in writing and come to the realization that writing can (and should be) fun.

Now that his family has moved back home to New Hampshire, he is excited bring his expertise and teaching experience to the Founders Academy. He looks forward to sharing his passion for literature and writing with the students and demonstrating how reading and writing provide us a unique opportunity for self-discovery while also connecting us to the world, both past and present.

When he’s not out exploring the beautiful state of New Hampshire with his wife, two girls, and their 100-pound puppy, he can be found reading, writing, running, or hosting a game of D&D.

He also enjoys making lists, much like this list of field-related fun facts:
