Mrs. Moore

Teacher, Science, Health, and Physical Education

B.Ed., Biology and Physical Education with Minor in Psychology, Chemistry, University of New Brunswick

Mrs. Moore grew up in Canada and earned her education degree at the University of New Brunswick. She has over 20 years teaching experience in various places including Canada, Honduras, Korea, and here in New Hampshire at both Nute High School and Pelham High School. She has taught a variety of subjects but most of her experience is in Biology, Physical Education, and Mathematics.

Mrs. Moore stayed at home with her son but returned to the school setting as a substitute teacher when he began Grade 1, eight years ago. She is excited about the part-time position at Founder's Academy not only because it is her desire to remain part-time at the moment but also because she truly believes in the school's mission and the opportunity it provides for its students.

Mrs. Moore has coached basketball and volleyball, and loves a variety of team sports, but also believes it's important for students to find areas that will interest them in living an active lifestyle and being able to become physically fit individually. She also believes that self-confidence is a key aspect to not only becoming a leader but also being able to make healthy choices for yourself. She hopes to instill this in her students and educate them on making healthy choices in all aspects of their life.

Mrs. Moore is very proud to have recently become a United States Citizen. She lives in Manchester with her loving husband and son. As a family, they love to play board games, travel, and explore all of the things that the world has to offer.
