Mr. Robert Theriaque

Teacher, Science

Bachelor Education, University of Massachusetts
Master's Science Education, Framingham State University

Rob Theriaque taught science for 45 years in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. He has taught physics, chemistry, and aerospace education among many other subjects. He brings this experience, along with his enthusiasm and commitment as an educator to the students of The Founders Academy.

Mr. Theriaque holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts and a Master’s degree in Science Education from Framingham State University.

While at Duval High School in Maryland, as part of a faculty-student team he oversaw the construction of a payload which flew on the space shuttle. During his time at Nashua Senior High School, he co-directed an interdisciplinary team that developed an aerospace curriculum which became a successful part of the school curriculum.

Outside of the classroom, Rob enjoys time with his family. His three grandchildren were the motivation for his return to New Hampshire. For relaxation he can be found on a lake chasing bass, or on a golf course chasing birdies.

He is proud to be joining the dedicated team of educators at The Founders Academy. He is looking forward to the challenge of teaching and assisting in the development and growth of the science department.
