Q. When did Founders open?
A. We opened in September 2014 with 100 students in Grades 6-8.
Q. What grade levels currently attend Founders?
A. Grades 6-12
Q. When was your first graduating class?
A. June 2019
Q. How many full time faculty members teach at Founders?
A. We have 31 classroom teachers. In addition, we have multiple Special Education teachers, paraprofessionals, guidance counselors, and administrators.
Q. How many total students attend Founders now?
A. The enrollment to for the 2020-21 school year is about 350 students with about 215 enrolled in Middle School and 135 attending High School.
Q. What is a typical class size?
A. Around 18-20 students for middle school classes and 10-15 students for high school classes.
Q. What percentage of students are female? Male?
A. 56% female and 44% male
Q. Where do your students live?
A. This year, our students come from 25 different NH towns:

Q. Is transportation available for students?
A. Bussing is available for residents of Manchester only. Just like the other Manchester public schools, the service provided by the MTA is free for middle school students and for a fee for high school students.
Q. When does the school day begin and end?
A. The school day runs from 7:45am - 3:10pm. Students can be dropped off starting at 7:20am.
Q. Do you have an afterschool program?
A. We do have an afterschool homework program that is available for a fee. In addition, there are numerous clubs that meet afterschool throughout the year.
Q. What kinds of schools did our students attend before they came to Founders?
A. We have students that come from their "traditional" district, from private schools, from other charter schools, from out of state, and students who have been homeschooled. There is a good mix of students from those 5 sources.
Q. Do you have any sports teams?
A. No, the Founders Academy does not sponsor any sports teams. However, students at NH charter schools are eligible to play sports at their "sending" school district. (So, if a Founders student lives in the geographic territory of Manchester West High School, then they can play for the teams at Manchester West.)
Q. How many high school credits are required to graduate?
A. 26
