The Founders Academy, a chartered public middle-high school in Manchester, New Hampshire, welcomes applications for the position of middle school English teacher.  Experience, creativity, and passion for the subject are desirable, as are skilled teaching of the writing process, grammar, and project-based learning, as well as a love of literature. Dean of Middle-High Charter School, Manchester NH, Full-Time for the 2020-2021 School Year

A magnificent opportunity for an experienced educator-administrator to take charge of The Founders Academy, a chartered public school encompassing grades 6-12 that is free and open to all New Hampshire students.
A candidate for this position must not only be experienced but must also love the mission of the school, which is to raise up leaders of good character, who know the history, values and culture of our country and who will use their education to become the guardians of our liberty.
In addition, the new Dean must have an understanding of the possibilities of charter schools to rework the traditional public school model and to creatively cultivate a bottom-up approach to education which empowers faculty, staff and students to their own leadership roles in the school, and in the case of the students, to take responsibility for their own education. ********** Anticipated Opening: Computer Science Middle School Teacher Full-Time for the 2020-2021 School Year

The Founders Academy public charter school, grades 6-12, seeks an experienced middle school computer science teacher.  This is an anticipated opening for the 2020-2021 academic year to accommodate student population growth and program expansion.   We are looking for someone with a passion for teaching mostly 6th & 7th grade students . We are looking for an individual with a passion for and an in-depth knowledge of digital tools to support academic learning in all content areas. The mission of the school is to develop educated citizens and leaders who are knowledgeable about our past and who will apply the principles expressed in our founding documents to make wise choices to preserve our liberty while preparing students for the 21st century skills to compete in the current technology enriched society we live in. This is a unique opportunity for a computer science teacher/technology integration specialists to participate in the implementation of a challenging, and meaningful curriculum that emphasizes the use of technology in project-based learning to support skill development for success in all academic areas.  Applicants should be well versed in Google Apps for Education, various web tools such as but not limited to WeVideo, Scratch,, Prezi, Animoto, and EdPuzzle. Familiarity with LanSchool is a plus.

The ideal candidate would be Google Level 1 Certified, belief in Gamified Learning Theory, hold NH Certification in either Computer Science or Technology Integration Specialists with at least 3 years experience teaching at the Middle School level, completed professional training in (or be willing to complete training during the summer of 2020) CS Discoveries & Gamified Learning.

Founded in 2014, The Founders Academy is a free public charter school for grades 6-12 located at 5 Perimeter Road in Manchester. The school's mission focuses on the virtues of the Founding Fathers, leadership, character building, classical and challenging education in the core subjects and elective courses. Established by the Founders Academy Foundation, the school offers the opportunity for each student to pursue mastery in their studies.
